(Sanford, FL) -- Even before today's testimony started in the George Zimmerman murder trial, one of the alternate jurors was dismissed in the case. Judge Debra Nelson announced in court that the juror identified only as B-72 was dismissed for reasons unrelated to the trial. B-72 was an alternate and one of the two men who was sworn in to serve on the panel. The dismissal leaves three alternates to the six jurors who will decide if Zimmerman is guilty of second-degree murder in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
