Assault charges against A$AP Rocky are reportedly on hold because authorities can't pin down the rapper's whereabouts.
According to TMZ.com, A$AP Rocky - born Rakim Mayers - is accused of slapping a woman named Lisa Wade following a concert in Philadelphia last month.
Apparently, since the charge is a misdemeanor and the police didn't witness the incident, Wade was forced to file a private criminal complaint. That process required her to provide contact information for A$AP.
Wade gave the District Attorney the address of Rocky's record label, but when the court paperwork was sent to the label, the rapper reportedly wasn't on hand to receive it.
The documents were then sent back to the D.A. Without proper contact information, the prosecutor's office can't continue with the case.
